Range Rover sport sinking overnight – should I panic?
Woke up this morning to find my 2016 Range Rover Sport sitting almost on the bump stops in the rear, like the whole back end was slammed and it looked ridiculous next to the other cars in our building’s parking in Dubai Marina. I started the engine and after a minute or two it pumped back up to normal height, but now I’m freaking out because I’ve heard these air suspension horror stories where people end up spending 15k or more chasing leaks and replacing compressors. I don’t even know where to start diagnosing this honestly. A buddy told me it could be a simple O ring leak in one of the air struts or a cracked line, but he also said many garages will just replace everything instead of actually finding the leak.
