Has anyone actually compared Battery Zone vs the local shop in Al Quoz?
I’m one of those annoying people who researches everything to death before spending even 300 dirhams, so here I am. My Honda Accord 2013 needs a new battery and I’ve got two options in front of me. First is the small shop behind my office in Al Quoz, guy says he’ll do it for 280 with fitting and a three month warranty. Second is Battery Zone which quotes around 380 but includes a much longer warranty and they come to my location. Normally I’d just go with the cheaper guy because money’s a bit tight this month, but I’ve had bad experiences with those tiny shops where the battery dies again after six months and the guy just shrugs. Is the extra hundred dirhams actually worth it for peace of mind? Has anyone tried both and can tell me if the expensive option lasts noticeably longer? Or am I just falling for marketing and should save my cash? Really conflicted on this one.
